Hope is all the hopeless world is looking for over four (4) million suffering children in Uganda are hoping for a day without hunger a day without fear of what might happen in the night on the streets without shelter.
With above mentioned 4 million desparate children Uganda which makes this nation to hold the largest orphan population per capita of any nation in the world, Uganda is slightly smaller than the state of Oregon bordered by Sudan to the north, Congo to the west, Rwanda and Tanzania to the south and Kenya to the east. The country lies in a cradle of mountains and is home to half of lake victoria and the source of the Nile River.
The reason for ever growing number of orphans is civil conflicts, diseases and hunger which leaves many families withought care takers facts about Uganda go up to having majority of individuals earning less than a dollar per day which makes it impossible to educate and care for the children.
We are called to restore hope to the countless number of orphans in Uganda but we cannot do this alone therefore we invite you to be part of the solution.
